FDA approved the first GMO animal allowed on the market with telling consumers that is is GMO.

Kelly –

Earlier this week, the federal Food and Drug Administration approved the sale of genetically modified salmon – the first GMO animal the U.S. government has ever allowed on the market.

This is a big deal, Kelly: If the Deny Americans the Right to Know (DARK) Act passes the Senate, we will have NO WAY of knowing if salmon, or any other foods, are genetically modified.

To make matters even worse, Big Food’s allies are trying to sneak their anti-labeling agenda to the big end-of-year spending bill.

You’ve stood side-by-side with EWG as we’ve led the charge for mandatory GMO labeling. The stakes just got higher, and we need your help again to fight back. Can you chip in $10 or more to help EWG’s Rapid Response Team raise $25,000 by midnight tonight?

Click here to give $10 or more to EWG’s Rapid Response Team to help us make mandatory GMO labeling a reality. To thank you for your rush donation, you’ll get a PDF copy of EWG’s latest fact sheet on the DARK Act, AND we’ll send you EWG’s Shopper’s Guide to Avoiding GMOs!

Just imagine going through the grocery store and having no idea whether the food you’re buying has been genetically modified.

If Congress tacks the DARK Act onto the end-of-year spending bill, we’ll all be in the dark about GMOs in grocery stores.

Don’t let it happen: Click here to rush $10 or more to help EWG’s Rapid Response Team raise $25,000 before midnight tonight, and get your copies of EWG’s latest fact sheet on the DARK Act and EWG’s Shopper’s Guide to Avoiding GMOs.

Thanks for your help, Kelly. We’re so grateful to have you with us in this fight.
